BCA Float Information:
The airbag in the BCA Float range inflates from the top of the back pack and is a single 150 litre bag design, inflating behind the head to offer float and added protection to the head and upper body. The design allows good vision in an avalanche situation to inflate and then ski away from the avalanche.
Refilling of the BCA cylinders can be done by returning to us, there is also the facility to refill via a SCUBA to paint ball adapter system.
Flying with the BCA Float avalanche airbags is the same as Snowpulse and ABS systems, you will need to pre book your airbag at least 2 weeks prior to flying and then take with you two copies of the IATA regulations, keep one copy with your documents and the other copy place on the BCA Float airbag.
Be prepared for a slightly longer check in process as almost always you will be called to out size luggage check to qualify your airbag.
