- Dynafit Blacklight 95 ski
Dynafit Blacklight 95 is powder-oriented wide speed toruing ski with 95mm at just 1,160 grams, that wins points for top performance on the descent. You entrée to the backcountry: The Blacklight 95 is the widest ski in the Blacklight Speed series. It was developed for ski tourers for whom no distance is too far in their quest for perfect powder. If you would like a ski with strong downhill performance, but at the same time want to be as light and as efficient as possible on the climb to your perfect line, then the Blacklight 95 is the model for you. With 95 mm underfoot, a large turning radius, and an extended tip rocker, this ski is the one made for being fast, carving big turns in the snow, and enjoying pow to the fullest. The Blacklight 95 has a 100% “UD” carbon top layer. UD is the abbreviation to describe the “uni” or one-directional arrangement of the fibers. Compared to classic carbon construction, UD carbon lends higher tensile strength and greater resilience while maintaining a lower density. The Blacklight 95 has a 100% premium Paulownia wood core. Thanks to its 3D construction, the ski lowers its total weight to reduce its swing weight in front of and behind the binding area to essentially reduce the overall weight of the ski. You get extremely stable ski handling despite its low weight. The rocker construction at the tip and tail and the sidecut are also adapted for each ski size – a unique feature in the ski touring market. This keeps the effective edge length equally proportional to each size, allowing it to function independent of the size. In order to guarantee the best possible power transfer on the ski, the Blacklight is constructed with a full ABS sidewall. In addition, the base has a special racing grind for even more speed. Meaning you can make up valuable time in the “race” to carve the first turns.
- Ski touring skins Dynafit SPEEDSKIN BLACKLIGHT 95
Ski Touring skins Dynafit SPEEDSKIN BLACKLIGHT 95, with excellent glide and grip; developed by Pomoca®. The Blacklight 95 ski touring skin was developed by POMOCA. It prevents the annoying buildup of clumps of snow and has excellent grip and glide characteristics. As with all skins from POMOCA, the DYNAFIT ski touring skins for the Blacklight 95 were made in Switzerland and offer convincing high quality on the slopes. A special membrane prevents water absorption and eliminates the need to seal a skin’s edges. The skins are resistant to tears, as well as wear and tear, plus they can be easily folded in the middle or stuck together. An intelligent DYNAFIT tensioning system lends the ideal connection between skin and ski tip. Snow and ice are prevented from getting under the skin since the skin sits so closely to the ski all the way to the tip. On the way to the summit you can always put your trust in your Blacklight ski touring skins – highest performance, comfort, and maximum safety, guaranteed.
- Dynafit ST ROTATION 10 binding
The patented DYNAFIT pivoting toe piece evens out impacts that can effect ski and binding on a powerful dynamic downhill. The binding release function is thus more reliable and effectively counters unwanted early release. A forward pressure of 10 mm ensures that the release value remains constant even when skis experience deflection. With its perfect bayonet positive lock at the heel unit, an extremely high power transfer from binding to ski is achieved for increased responsiveness and downhill performance. The Step-In Side Towers make entry into the toe piece more than 30% easier. Meaning fast as lightening you are fully and easily ready to get going. At the same time, it increases lateral stability on the descent. The “Hub Centering” system in all bindings with a pivoting toe piece makes it child’s play for users to click into the boot’s neutral position and thus makes it easy to adjust your position for climbing. The brake locks out in walk mode automatically for best user-friendly handling. Thanks to three different walk modes, you can climb with maximum comfort. The binding also offers 45 mm of flex in its length adjustment, enabling it to fit various sole lengths. The release values can be adjusted from DIN 4 to 10. As with all DYNAFIT bindings, the ST Rotation 10 has been developed and manufactured in Germany and offers DYNAFIT’s Lifetime Guarantee. ST Rotation 10 – Strong on the descent.
